First time around! Really enjoy Indian, Mediterranean, Greek, Italian, and Turkish. Food/Drink: Entrees were amazing, everything tasted fantastic. The flavors and the smells were intoxicating! I had the Dahl pouri, and curry potato. Bread and Apps: The garlic naan mmmm mmmm! Small dish of the samosas were to die for. Dinning Area: Pretty Small, and cramped. A little drafty. Prices: Relatively cheap. Small appetizer, entree, and a drink I got away for $30. Parking: Plenty of space, private lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and smaller in size. Atmosphere: During the weekday Dinner rush, pretty busy, but not unmanageable. I did not wait long. Staff/Attendants: Staff overall was Great, family owned and operated I presume. Extremely authentic, deep accent. Awesome experience wish I had my wife, I will be back! 8/10

Still so amazing I'm so glad I got another chance to have the lunch buffet. I don't get to eat here allot but I love it.

I have been going to Tanjore for more than two decades but never written a review. So, it is time to correct that & express my gratitude to a restaurant which under the new ownership of Kamraj, is even better than ever before. Located in the plaza next to the Fishkill post office plaza, it is small place that excels in quality Indian food. I love the buffets served every day of the week, with Saturday & Sunday offering more variety. From fish in coconut sauce, goat meat biryani, lemon rice, aloo bhaji & puri, cauliflower 65, very moist & delicious tandoori chicken, which I like to dunk with some of the sauce in the chicken tikka masala. There is something for everyone. If you are going for the first time, try the buffet to discover your favorites. The servers, Thiyagarajan, Cyril & Ivo are friendly, welcoming & eager to please. Highly recommend!

Haven't had good Indian food in a while. Wife and I found this little place when searching one night. Our toddler never had Indian. That night, our toddler devoured EVERYTHING! She usually doesn't stuff herself when she eats but the food was so freakin' good, even she couldn't stop eating. Literally she would stop and take a big breath in like a heavy sigh. That was hilarious lol. But yes, highly recommend it. I didn't know what to pick from the menu. The waiter gave suggestions based on popularity and I went with it.

My favorite place in the Hudson Valley for Indian food. The food is incredible, authentic South Indian food. The dosa is my personal favorite to get every time we go. The service is excellent, and the quality for the price point is unbeatable.

ANOTHER update? Yep! I've been back yet another time, and tried two more dishes -- chicken tikka (not masala -- under the tandoor menu). Both were excellent; adding a photo of the chicken tikka. Really love this restaurant!

Food was amazing! Best Indian food I have had in the area. Went for their lunch buffet & the quality & items available were awesome. My husband is vegetarian so there was a good variety of vegetarian dishes he could choose from. The lamb curry was my favorite! The interior could use some updating but it was clean and staff was friendly, which is what is most important.

Love the fact that they have lunch Buffett everyday and you can actually take it out!!!! What a great concept. If you look at it, a regular to-go container is equivalent to a big plate of food, no seconds or thirds. Since we only have a short time for a lunch break, we always do the take out option once or twice a week. That's 5-6 lunch meals between my co-workers. Time for other restaurants who have Buffett options to take note. We've eaten here before, service is fast. The servers are very attentive. Not a bad deal overall if you crave Indian and don't want to spend a lot trying different foods.

By far my favorite Indian restaurant in the Hudson Valley. They have set the standard for service food quality and great hospitality. You will be checked on by what I can imagine the to be the manager your waiter and the other staff as well just to make sure you have a nice time and your drink is full. Quite a big area for seating and it's always very cheerful even if it's a slow evening. Great place to go with a few people so you can explore the appetizers before getting into the entrees. If you're feeling brave definitely ask them for a kick up in the pepper levels and you'll be sweating in no time.

Clean environment, kind staff, and solid buffet. I'm vegetarian and plenty of options. Highlight, without a shadow of doubt, was the daal, pictured below. Probably the most flavorful daal I've had, fragrant with mustard seeds, and other spices. The low light was the saag + cauliflower dish, quite bland. Accompanied relishes were on point, kaachumbar was delicious and fresh, and the coconut rice was a pleasant treat. I'd come back
